Hello, and thanks for visiting my page!
My name is Ben Janning. Originally from Dingle Co. Kerry I moved to Dublin to study at BIMM, where I received my Bachelors in Commercial Modern Music. I have since obtained a Masters Degree with a First Class Honours in Music Performance from the Cork School of Music.
I have played and recorded with artists such as Sharon Shannon, Ryan O Shaughnessy, Ronan O Snodaigh (Kila), Oscar Blue, Clare Sands, as well as my original bands Naked Animals and Dreimire.
I work as a Music Educator with Music Generation Cork City
I believe in a student centered approach, with our lessons designed to give students the most benefit and enjoyment, whilst following a curriculum and plan.

Techniques - Slap Bass, Fingerstyle Funk, Playing with a Pick.
Styles of Music - Pop, Rock, Funk, Reggae etc.
Music Theory - Scales, Triads, Arpeggios, Reading Music, Circle of Fifths, Modes.
Learning Songs - Focusing on YOUR favorite songs.
Ear Training - Intervals, Chord Recognition, Scale Recognition, Rhythm Reconition
